Bolt cutters proof chain. This chain can not be cut with conventional bolt cutters. This chain – hardened to 62 HRC – is harder than bolt bolt cutters usually hardened to around 58-60 HRC. Thus bolt cutters will fail before the chain. In most cases you will not only be unable to cut this chain but very likely bolt cutters will be permanently damaged.
