Previously, the land that now makes up the state, had been considered part of North Carolina before it was then ceded to the government and known as the Southwest Territory? In anticipation of Tennessee’s Bicentennial, the Distillery released a replica of the original Centennial bottle in 1995. This 750ml Bicentennial bottle, which included a numbered hang tag, was filled with 96 proof whiskey and sold in a box. Its release not only honors Jack Daniel and his original Centennial bottle, but also pays tribute to the state of Tennessee.
